Getting back after the event
No train, streetcar or event shuttle serves the stadium. After a night game or concert the choices are RideKC bus 47 on its regular schedule, or a rideshare or taxi from the Missouri Welcome Center between Gates 1 and 2. In the timetable valid through January 2, 2027, the last 47 toward the Plaza leaves Blue Ridge Cutoff at 38th Terrace at 11:45 pm on weekdays, 11:20 pm on Saturdays and 9:20 pm on Sundays. After a Sunday night game no bus is left: rideshare or taxi is the only way back.
| Mode | What runs after events |

Getting there
Public transit
No train, streetcar or event shuttle reaches the Truman Sports Complex, and neither the Chiefs nor RideKC publish a 2026 game-day shuttle. The only public transit is RideKC bus route 47, which stops on Blue Ridge Cutoff next to the complex.
- The Chiefs list RideKC route 47 as the bus to the stadium. Their pages still call it the 47-Broadway; RideKC's current timetable (effective October 4, 2026) lists route 47 as Martin Luther King Jr.
- Route 47 runs from 39th & Rainbow (KU Medical Center) via Main & 47th (Country Club Plaza), Cleaver II Blvd, Swope Parkway and Blue Ridge Cutoff to Blue Ridge Crossing (US 40 at Sterling).
- In the timetable, the ride from Main & 47th to Blue Ridge Cutoff at 38th Terrace takes about 30 minutes. Buses run about every 45 minutes on weekdays and hourly on Saturdays and Sundays. The timetable shows no extra trips for games.
- From downtown or Midtown, the free KC Streetcar runs along Main Street to the Plaza stop at Cleaver II & Main, where route 47 also stops.
- A Kansas City Star report (October 2026) says all buses, public transit included, drop fans at the Missouri Welcome Center area between Gates 1 and 2.
- Private coach: Rally OurBus began round-trip service to Chiefs home games in October 2026 from some downtown and Crown Center hotels and from Lawrence. Seats are booked in advance on its site; you do not need to stay at the hotel.

Driving and parking
For Chiefs games, parking must be bought in advance; cash is not accepted at the toll booths. Lots open 4.5 hours before kickoff, and parking passes live in the Chiefs Mobile App.
- One vehicle per space. Interior traffic runs counter-clockwise: the tollgate you enter and the type of pass you hold decide your lot. I-70 gives the best access to Gates 1 to 4, I-435 to Gates 5 to 7.
- Lots fill in order, closest spaces first. For the first 30 minutes after the lots open, open parking is available in Lots C, D, F and G based on your pass.
- Tailgating is allowed in all Truman Sports Complex lots, for ticketed guests only. Your whole tailgate must stay within eight feet behind your space, and the emergency lanes (two yellow lines) must stay clear.
- You may not stay in the lots or outside the stadium during the game, or once the headliner takes the stage at a concert.
- Buses and RVs 25 feet or longer need a Bus/RV pass and park on the north side of Dubiner Circle, entering through Gate 1 or 7. Vehicles longer than 40 feet are not allowed in the complex.
- A limited number of electric-car charging spaces are in Lot M, first come, first served. Enter through Gate 3, 4 or 6 and tell parking staff.
- The stadium is cashless (Mastercard, American Express, Visa, Discover).

Rideshare (Uber, Lyft)
Rideshare, taxi and private-car drop-off and pickup is at the Missouri Welcome Center on Blue Ridge Cutoff, between Gates 1 and 2.
- Follow the marked, paved path between the Missouri Welcome Center and the stadium.
- The Chiefs name zTrip, Uber and Lyft as services that can use this area. The A-Z guide sends taxis to the same place.
- To drive into the Truman Sports Complex itself you need a parking pass bought in advance.

Bag policy
NFL clear-bag policy: one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" (or a one-gallon clear freezer bag), plus one small clutch no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
- Clear backpacks are allowed if they are no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Clear bags must not have buckles, grommets or decoration hiding the bag.
- Not allowed: backpacks, purses, camera and binocular cases, diaper bags, mesh bags, oversized totes, and tinted or printed-pattern plastic bags.
- Belt bags and fanny packs: the A-Z guide says none are allowed, of any kind.
- Medically necessary items are allowed after inspection. Only some entry lanes accept bags, so carrying one can mean a longer wait.
- The stadium's guides do not mention a bag check or lockers.
