Getting back after the event
Walking is the main way back at night: the stadium is within one mile of the French Quarter, the CBD and the Convention Center area, and within walking distance of downtown hotels. Otherwise use the rideshare zone on Poydras St (for Saints games, between Loyola Ave and Carondelet St). No special post-event transit is published, and after very large events RTA has suspended nearby lines because of road closures. Regular RTA service runs, but last trips from the stadium stop were not confirmed.

| Rideshare | Saints games: exit through the main entrances, walk east (toward the river) on Poydras St and follow the "Rideshare Pickup" signs to the zone between Loyola Ave and Carondelet St; request the ride only once inside the zone. The stadium's own pages give Poydras between Clara St and Loyola Ave, and the location can change by event. [source] |

| Bus | No post-event RTA service is published. On January 2, 2025 (Sugar Bowl), RTA suspended service on the 12-St. Charles and 49-UPT-Riverfront lines because of gridlock and road closures around the stadium and Poydras St. Check norta.com/servicealerts or the Le Pass app before relying on a bus or streetcar late at night. Driving and parking
Seven garages (1, 1A, 2, 2A, 5, 6 and Champions Garage) and two surface lots (Lots 3 and 4), about 7,000 spaces; not all are open for every event. Parking is cashless. On Saints game days, Garage 1A, Lot 3, Lot 3A and Champions Garage are sold first come, first served; the rest is mostly season-ticket parking.
- Event parking is booked through the stadium's parking portal (EventPass) where offered; rates, lots and opening times vary by event.
- Saints games: the parking pass is mobile; have it on your phone for the traffic police, who direct you to your garage entrance.
- Saints games (2026 season): vehicles parking in the A, B or C lanes of Garages 1, 2, 5 and 6 and the ADA East and West lots get a canine security sweep outside the garage before entry. Holders of D, E or F passes are sent to the second entrance of each garage to skip it.
- Re-entry and overnight parking are prohibited. Garages take credit or debit cards only.
- The stadium prohibits unauthorized tailgating in its parking facilities. For Saints games, the Champions Square Tailgate opens 3 hours before kickoff for ticketed guests only; entrances on LaSalle St by Dave Dixon Dr and on Sugar Bowl Dr; no re-entry once inside.
- Accessible parking: East and West sides of Sugar Bowl Drive and level one of Garage 1A, first come, first served, with placard and matching ID.
