Getting back after the event
After a night game or concert, take RTD light rail from Empower Field at Mile High Station (C, E and W lines) or Decatur-Federal (W line). Trains run on the regular schedule with extra cars, and there is no special post-game service, so the last train is the regular last train. On Sundays and Monday to Thursday, the last trains toward Union Station leave the stadium station between about 11:49 pm and 12:29 am. On Friday and Saturday nights they run until about 1:30 am. Expect crowded platforms. Rideshare pickup is a 15-minute walk east at the Ball Arena Rideshare Lot; the taxi stand is on Bryant Street near Gate 5.

Getting there
Public transit
RTD light rail stops next to the stadium. The C, E and W lines serve Empower Field at Mile High Station, and the W line also stops at Decatur-Federal Station. Each is about an 8-minute walk to the stadium. On game days RTD runs its regular schedule with extra rail cars. There is no special game-day bus service in 2026.
- From downtown or Union Station: take the C, E or W line to Empower Field at Mile High Station.
- From the airport: take the A Line to Union Station, then change to the C, E or W line.
- W line riders from the west (Lakewood, Golden) can also get off at Decatur-Federal Station, on the stadium's west side. The Decatur-Federal Park-n-Ride lot closed on September 1, 2026; trains and buses still stop there.
- Bus routes near the stadium include 1, 10, 16, 20, 23, 30 and 31. The Flatiron Flyer and local routes 0, 9, 10, 20 and 32 connect to rail at Union Station.
- RTD's tip: in the NextRide app or trip planner, type "Broncos" as the destination to see every option from where you are. Pay with a Day Pass in NextRide or by tapping a contactless card on the validator (Tap-n-Ride) to skip ticket machine lines.
- RTD planned a high-volume game-day service pilot for August 2026, with more than 10,000 extra seats on transit vehicles. It was postponed to the 2027 season, so in 2026 there are no dedicated game-day buses.
- For Broncos home games, the stadium lists the Denver Trolley Football Shuttle from the Confluence Park trolley stop behind REI (1416 Platte Street) to a stop under I-25 about 100 yards east of the stadium. It starts running two hours before kickoff.

- Broncos games: lots open 4.5 hours before kickoff, except Lot C (Ford F-150), the early tailgating lot, which opens 6 hours before kickoff and sells a very limited number of spaces first-come, first-served by credit card. It usually sells out 30 minutes to 1 hour after opening.
- Carpool section in Lot A (Ford Super Duty): spaces sold on game day only to cars with 4 or more people, credit card only. No tailgating in the carpool section.
- If you already have a permit, add it to Apple Wallet or Google Pay before you arrive.
- Accessible parking: first-come, first-served on event day in Lot L or the ADA sections of Lot D and Lot G, credit card only, with a valid state-issued placard or plate. These lots usually sell out within two hours of opening.
- Off-site lots the stadium names: Ball Arena, Auraria Campus, the Downtown Aquarium and Riverside Church (2401 Alcott Street). They open about 4 hours before kickoff, are not run by the stadium, and may be full if they host their own event.
- Tailgating is allowed: one permit equals one space, and you must not take another space or block drive lanes or walkways.
- The stadium is cashless.

Where to stay
| Area | Why |
|---|---|
| Downtown Denver near Union Station (LoDo) | The C, E and W lines run directly from Union Station to Empower Field at Mile High Station, and the A Line to the airport starts at Union Station, so there is one train each way and no transfer at night. |
| Lakewood and Golden along the W Line | The W line stops at both Empower Field at Mile High Station and Decatur-Federal Station on its way between Union Station and the Federal Center and Golden, so the ride back needs no transfer. |
