Getting back after the event

No event transit runs after games or concerts, and regular HART buses near the stadium mostly stop around 10–11 pm and are detoured during events. After a night event the practical options are rideshare or taxi from Steinbrenner Field (across Dale Mabry via the pedestrian bridge) or your own car.

Bus	HART timetables (August 2026 schedule book): Route 36's last trips at HCC Dale Mabry Campus are about 10:10 pm northbound and 10:30 pm southbound, every day. On weekdays the last Route 32 and 45 trips at the West Tampa Transfer Center leave between about 10:00 and 10:40 pm. Route 7's last trip to downtown leaves the transfer center about 11:00 pm, but during stadium events Route 7 does not serve the transfer center. Do not count on a bus after a night event. [source]

If you miss itThere is no late bus to fall back on: use rideshare or a taxi from Steinbrenner Field. Outbound traffic can take 45–60 minutes to clear, so expect waits and surge pricing right after the event. Westshore hotels are about 2 miles away. The stadium's "Decide to Ride" program offers a discounted rideshare home; ask at a Guest Services booth.

Getting there

Public transit

No rail and no event shuttle. HART local buses stop near the stadium (HCC Dale Mabry Campus and the West Tampa Transfer Center), but Routes 7, 32, 36 and 45 run on detour during stadium events and most last trips are around 10–11 pm.

HART Route 36 (Dale Mabry Hwy / Himes Ave) stops at the HCC Dale Mabry Campus, next to the stadium. Routes 7, 32 and 45 serve the West Tampa Transfer Center, east of the stadium.
During events at Raymond James Stadium, HART detours Routes 7, 32, 36 and 45 because of road closures and event traffic: Route 7 does not serve the West Tampa Transfer Center or Tampa Bay Blvd; Routes 32 and 45 do not serve the transfer center or Himes Ave north of Columbus Dr; Route 36 does not serve the HCC loop.

Driving and parking

Paid parking in stadium lots, cashless and contactless (all major credit cards). Parking is first come, first served on event day, and can also be bought in advance. For Bucs games the parking pass is in the Bucs app and is scanned from your phone.

About 10,000 spaces on site and 15,000 off site; you pay when you enter the lot. All vehicles are subject to search.
Tailgating is allowed in stadium lots: one 10 ft x 24 ft space, directly behind your own vehicle; no saving spaces; it must stop at kickoff. Kegs and loud amplified sound are prohibited.
Overnight parking is prohibited for all vehicles, including RVs and campers. Parking passes are not valid for re-entry.
RVs, buses and campers: Lot 14 for Bucs games (entrance off MLK Blvd), Lot 8 off Himes Ave for most other events.
Accessible parking: first come, first served in Lot A/3D (off Dale Mabry) and Lot B/C (off Himes Ave); a disabled parking permit is required; it cannot be bought in advance.
The stadium says outbound traffic after events can last 45–60 minutes.

Rideshare (Uber, Lyft)

Uber and Lyft drop-off and pick-up are at Steinbrenner Field, across Dale Mabry Highway. For Bucs games rides cannot be requested from the stadium or other nearby spots. Walk out through Lot A and over the pedestrian bridge.

After the game, exit through Lot A to the pedestrian bridge, cross Dale Mabry Hwy to Steinbrenner Field and follow event signs and staff to the pickup area.
Taxis, limos and buses also use Steinbrenner Field.
For concerts and other high-volume events the stadium says the pickup area can change; check the stadium website on event day.

Bag policy

No-bag policy at all events. The only bag allowed is one small clutch no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (it does not have to be clear); larger bags are refused even if they are clear.

Bags can be returned to your vehicle or stored in a paid locker on Tom McEwen Blvd, just southeast of the Gate Suzuki Marine entrance.
Fanny packs and camera or binocular cases are prohibited. Diaper bags: contact Guest Services (guestservices@tampasportsauthority.com) for medical or special needs.
